performs the blues and blues style jazz throughout Southern California. You will find them at corporate events, private parties and clubs catering to blues and blues/jazz music. At your direction, they can liven things up and entertain or simply enhance and smooth out your event with appropriate background music.  Pete Johnson and Jus' Blues, Baby play a wide variety of styles from down home back porch Delta Blues to rocking electric Chicago Blues.

The six piece band consist of:

• Pete Johnson: vocals, harmonica and trombone
• Cat Jefferson: vocals and percussion
• Brian O’Keefe: guitar and vocals
• Mike Santangelo: bass
• Rich Pelletier: drums and vocals
• Diane L’Esperance: keyboard and vocals

Two unique features of the band are:

• Jam with the Band: Audience members  that have playing experience at any level from beginner to professional  are invited up to the stage to sit in and actually play with the band. Guest player friendly blues jam tunes are picked for ease of improvisation.

• You Be the Star:  Your chance to be the star and sing or play with a professional band at your back! With just short notice the band can be ready to back you on your choice of prepared songs/tunes, making sure your star shines!
