The Pete Johnson and Jus’ Blues, Baby is a six piece blues band based in San Diego, California. The talents of the band members are extensive and cover many musical genres from classical and big band to alternative rock and hard rock. Many of the band members have toured throughout the US playing clubs, casinos and arenas. They have all come together, under the musical direction of Pete Johnson to perform various forms of blues and jazz for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Diane L'Esperance is a relative new comer to the professional music performance scene. She is an original member of the band, since its first public performance, at Winston’s in Feb. 2008. She plays keyboard and provides occasional background vocals.
L'Esperance took piano lessons as a child and, as an adult, studied classical piano for six years, under Janice Kirstein.
On occasion, L'Esperance accompanies Pete Johnson, as a duo. Together, they played every Sunday Brunch, for two years, at the former Chateau Orleans in Pacific Beach. They have also performed together, at private parties and as special guests in such places, as the five star Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, and the Martini Ranch in Park City, Utah and locally at Albie’s in Mission Valley – San Diego.

Brian O'Keefe is a song writer, recording artist, and studio guitarist. O'Keefe has an extensive musical background from smooth jazz to hard rock.
He started his musical talents with the rock band Souls in Exile in the early '80s and as his skills develop become one of the founding members of Mercy House, an alternative rock band sensation that toured and made three albums. O'Keefe later experimented with country, smooth jazz, classic rock and contemporary covers and original song playing with various bands including Sugarfoot, Calico Ridge, Eastbourne, Joker's Wild, The United Saints of America, The Celebrities and Phat Sabbath.

Mike “Sandman” Santangelo is a song writer, recording artist, and studio bass player. Santangelo has an extensive musical background from blues to hard rock. Santangelo was has played with various bands including Mercy House, Killing Floor, SevenTrain, Sugarfoot, Joker's Wild, The United Saints of America, The Celebrities and Phat Sabbath.
